Start your year with purpose and creativity in this online workshop that blends mindful making with magic and ritual.

I am so excited to share the next Thread + Sprout class - Wall Hanging Class! Together, we’ll craft a small, personalized fabric wall hanging or altar cloth that beautifully represents your goals and intentions for the year ahead.

This class is $250 and includes six live video calls, unlimited access to the content, connection to a community of fellow crafts, and more.

how to make a quilted wall hanging or altar cloth using entirely hand-sewn techniques
how to integrate ritual, ceremony, and mindfulness practices into your creative process
how to do hand-sewn appliqué
a few different embroidery stitches
a basic introduction to color theory, design and symbolism
sustainable sewing skills

This class includes a comprehensive list of resources, patterns for a variety of different appliqué designs, written instructions for designing and creating your wall hanging, and six live community calls that will be recorded and uploaded in case you can't attend live or want to review the content later!

Some things you might want to know

Q: What skill level is recommended?

A: I want this class to be accessible to sewists of all levels, whether brand new or experienced. We will be doing the entire project by hand, so no sewing machine is required, and I’ll be walking you through a variety of different hand-sewing techniques.

Q: When are the live classes and do I need to attend them?

A: If you are taking this class live, the first live call will be on January 22nd from 5-7 pm PT. The class is six weeks long.

Important: you are not required to attend all the live classes! All the content will be uploaded to the class dashboard including recordings of the calls, so you can do this class at your own pace and at a time that works best for you.

Q: How many spots are available?

A: I have 50 spots available for this class!

Q: Are sewing patterns included?

A: Yes! I will provide patterns/templates for a variety of different appliqué designs and will also teach you how to make your own. The wall hanging itself does not need a sewing pattern.
